Brad Garey
Hey There,
My name is Brad
Garey, and like a lot of people living in the Tampa Bay area, I
am not a native Floridian. However, I have been a resident of this
area for over 40 years. I have seen four decades of changes
to this area and its people.
I remember things
like:
» US-19 as a
two lane road
» The opening
of Walt Disney World
» The Tampa
Bay Buccaneers as a Franchise Team
» The “Summit
Venture” knocking down the Sunshine
Skyway Bridge
» Hurricane
“Elena”
» Hurricane
“Andrew”
Brings back memories,
huh?
I have seen a
lot of changes in this town, including homes now sitting where pastures
and orange groves used to be. Before Countryside Mall was
built, there were orange groves all the way from Sunset Point Road
up to Tarpon Springs. No houses, no condos, no malls, etc.
Brandon was wide open, with long horned cattle roaming free.
Nobody in Pasco ever dreamt of the “Suncoast Parkway.”
Chances are,
if you are looking at a home or commercial building built after
1970, I probably saw it being built. So, who better to inspect
that home of commercial building? I know what Florida weather
does to buildings:
» How the intense
Florida heat affects roofs
» What the Spring
rains can do to the property, if it doesn’t drain properly
» How our magnificent
“Live Oak Trees” can affect the driveway or slab under the building.
» And then there
is always “HURRICANE SEASON”
I have lived
in the Tampa Bay area for over 40 years. As a professionally trained
and Nationally Certified Residential Home and Commercial Building
Inspector, I am...
Providing you with Protection,
Confidence and Peace of Mind.
